Marqués de Riscal bodega Visit & Tasting:

Dating back to 1858, Marqués de Riscal has been ranked the world’s 2nd best vineyard and winery three times. Explore the heart of the complex at Plaza del Reloj, where you’ll see the Original Bodega from 1860. Continue to El Palomar, dating back to 1883, for premium wines. Enjoy a view of the 21st-century Hotel Marqués de Riscal by architect Frank O. Gehry against the vineyard backdrop. Conclude with a tasting of 3 fine wines. Calatrava Masterpiece & Tasting at Javier San Pedro winery:

Ysios Winery, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, stands at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria in Laguardia. Inaugurated in 2001, its distinctive design has become an architectural landmark internationally. Named after the Egyptian goddess Isis, who oversaw the transformation of grapes into wine, the winery harmoniously blends with the surrounding landscape, resembling a powerful sculpture.

Get ready to enjoy at least exceptional 5 wines while taking in breathtaking views at Javier San Pedro Ortega Winery. Javier, honored as “young winemaker of the year” by Master of Wine Tim Atkin, began his winemaking journey with his grandfather. At just 17, he created his first wine at his father’s winery. In 2013, he launched his own venture: JAVIER SAN PEDRO ORTEGA WINERIES.

End on a high note with a visit to Laguardia, a gem among Spain’s medieval villages. Cobblestone streets, charming churches, medieval towers, and an impressive wall set the scene. Our journey concludes with a delightful lunch, followed by a leisurely stroll through the streets, unraveling the mysteries of this historic village. As the day wraps up, we’re all set to head back home, cherishing the memories.
